Kinley Mochrie has gained prominence because of her parents’ status in the public. Kinley is the only child of Canadian actress and comedian, Debra McGrath, and Canadian actor, Colin Mochrie. Kinley Mollie was born on September 3, 1990, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Canadian comedians Colin Mochrie and Debra McGrath. Born into an entertainment household, Kinley was exposed to comedies and performances very early on.

Kinley studied screenwriting at the New York Film Academy, an attempt to pursue her passion for the arts. She further honed her talents by working as a server and host at The Second City Toronto, where her parents had performed.

Colin Mochrie is an actor, writer, producer and improvised comic, born November 30, 1957, in Kilmarnock, Scotland. His most recent work includes British and American versions of the television show “Whose Line is It Anyway?” His quick wit and comedic timing won him international acclaim.

In comedy, Mochrie started out with the Toronto improv comedy troupe “The Second City,” where he met his wife Debra McGrath. Together they have worked on projects including the CBC television series “Getting Along Famously” (2006), which they both co-created and starred in.

Debra McGrath was born on July 5, 1954, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her career spans television, film and theater.

McGrath’s journey in comedy also began with “The Second City,” where she showcased her talents in improvisational theater. She has starred on television shows including “Little Mosque on the Prairie” (2007-2012), as Mayor Popowitcz. She has also lent her voice to numerous animated shows.

In 2003, Debra co-founded the comedy troupe “Women Fully Clothed,” alongside fellow Canadian comedians. The troupe performed sketches that humorously depicted everyday situations faced by women, earning critical acclaim for their performances.

Together with her husband, Colin Mochrie, Debra co-wrote and starred in “Getting Along Famously,” further exemplifying their dynamic partnership in both their professional and personal lives.
